Product Description
Para-aramid Filament
Currently has four series products-regular,mid-modulus,high modulus and high strength,widely applying to the fields of optical cable, rubber hose, personal protection, ropes and belt, bulletproof vest and helmet, etc. with different forms.
The mechanical properties of high strength and high modulus : a strong hydrogen bond strength , strength of up to 28 g / D more, than the strength of steel wire 5 to 6 times higher than the modulus of steel wire or glass fiber 2 to 3 times, toughness steel wire are two -fold , and weighs only wire about 1/5 .
Para-aramid Filament Feature
1. High strength, the strength is 6 times of steel wire, 3 times of glass fiber, and 2 times of high-strength nylon
2. High modulus, 3 times of steel wire, 2 times of glass fiber, 10 times of high-strength nylon
3. High temperature resistance, working at 160ºC for 500 hours, and the strength retention rate is 95%; Working at 200ºC for 100 hours, the strength can still reach 75% of the original strength
Para-aramid Filament Characteristic
Temperature resistance
Continuous use temperature range is extremely wide, -196 °C to 204 °C in the range of long-term operation . At 500 °C high temperature does not decompose , does not melt , at 200 °C undergo 100 hours , still maintain the original strength of 75%.
Good chemical solvent properties
